Subject: TWO POLICE OFFICERS ARRESTED OVER ABDUCTION OF ETHIOPIA OFFICIALS
Good People,
Is the Government aware about criminals in the Government system or is this another way of Government silencing whistleblowers who are opposed to corruption??? Why is the Government not doing the necessary to bring these criminals in the Government to face legal justice???
Very sad indeed..............

Alarm as graft whistleblower found dead
In Summary
- Mwawako Shipping Agencies Limited director Peter Omatangi recorded a statement at the Nyali Police Station, saying he feared for his life after receiving threatening messages.
- Lawyer George Kithi said Mr Mwandary had been receiving death threats from some Nema officials over a building he was supervising at Nyali Bridge.
The mysterious death of a whistle-blower who made graft allegations against officials of the environment agency has sparked fears among other business people.
On Sunday, Mwawako Shipping Agencies Limited director Peter Omatangi recorded a statement at the Nyali Police Station, saying he feared for his life after receiving threatening messages.
Speaking to journalists outside the station, Mr Omatangi expressed worry over the death of Mr John Mwandary with whom he raised complaints against some National Environment Management Authority (Nema) officials at the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) in Mombasa on Friday.
VIDEO EVIDENCE
“Mr Mwandary had damning video evidence against Nema which he promised to give today (Monday) but he was found dead on Kenyatta Avenue on Saturday,” he said.
Mr Omatangi said he fears he could be the next in line because of his standoff with two senior Nema officials who allegedly demanded a Sh2 million bribe so that his firm’s revoked licence for the waste oil business in Kilifi County could be reinstated.
When contacted on the phone, regional EACC boss Hassan Khalid said they were investigating the case after Mr Mwandary visited their offices.
Lawyer George Kithi said Mr Mwandary had been receiving death threats from some Nema officials over a building he was supervising at Nyali Bridge.
